Heather Sossoman

Heather Sossoman, PT, DPT is a dedicated pediatric physical therapist with over 26 years of experience supporting children and their families. She earned both her Master's and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, in 1998 and 2018, respectively. That same year, she achieved Board Certification as a Pediatric Physical Therapy Clinical Specialist recognizing her advanced expertise in the field.

In addition to her clinical work, Heather is the creator of Pediatric Therapy Essentials, a YouTube channel designed to educate and empower parents, caregivers, and educators. Through engaging videos and accessible content, she shares practical strategies and fun activities that promote movement and physical development in children. 

Heather is passionate about helping children build confidence through movement, encouraging them to participate fully in play, learning, and daily life.
