This is the second in a series on the learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. This video is about the visual learning style. Visual learners learn best by seeing, getting visual cues, having things written down. They even need to be able to see things around them that can help provide focus when learning.
This is the second in a series on the learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. This video is about the visual learning style. Visual learners learn best by seeing, getting visual cues, having things written down. They even need to be able to see things around them that can help provide focus when learning. Visual learners are often neat and tidy. They often close their eyes when visualizing the information they are trying to recall. Visual images that go with what you are learning make better visual connections. Many young visual learners are drawn to picture books, that have great illustrations that will allow them to visualize what they are hearing in the story as it is read aloud. Check your eyes regularly. Use flashcards and note cards. Avoid visual distractions while studying. Don't discount that your child is also going to be using auditory processes, but visual learning is the primary focus.
